Thank you for this.
I am so wearied by all the fear talk about 2012. As a new father, I threw up when I first heard of this theory, but as I did more research, I found it to be just as ridiculous.

I am shaking as I type this, since I was fully wrapped in fear. I am now calming as I have learned more and more. I truly believe any attempt at moving the 2012 theory along, is irresponsible and overtly cruel.

Again, thank you for this post.

OK...good analysis..and you're right, I do disagree with your biblical explanation. 100% of all Bible Prophecies have or will come true? I find it odd that you critiqued the faux science behing the 2012 myth so well, but are apparently blinding yourself to many, many inconsistencies and prophecies that have infantesimal odds of ever happening. Just one for example: the Bible predicts that there shall be five cities in Egypt that will speak the Canaanite language. But that language is extinct now, and Canaanite has never been a language of any Egyptian city. Yeah, there's a chance somebody will revive it, and it will be spoken on the streets of Cairo or Alexandria, but that's as much of a stretch as most of the 2012 myths.

Thank you so much for clearing this whole 2012 thing up. I am only 12 and I got freaked when I heard about this and couldn't sleep for weeks. I didn't understand a lot of what you were saying (it was so confusing), but it feels good to know that there is an explanation for everything. This video really gave me piece of mind. Thank you!
